Slide 4 - Remote Working: Wellbeing Working from home for extended periods of time could take a toll on your wellbeing if not managed effectively. Try and feed some of these tips into your daily routine. Create a comfortable space It’s important to find a seat that allows you to sit upright, fully back in your seat with your back well supported and head up. If you can, try and make sure the underside of your elbow is at desk height when vertically under your shoulder. Candles, a bunch of spring flowersbackground music, over-ear headphones - these little luxuries all can make a difference to your space. Try and build in break Some fresh air, a quick read of some of the paywall-free papers The Guardian or the New York Times. Even if it's a quick 15 mins to make a cuppa or to grab a glass of water, make sure you stay hydrated and give yourself a few minutes of headspace. ...Speaking of headspace… Do check in with yourself on your mental health. Organisations like MIND and Mental Health UK have a brilliant set of services and there are apps like Headspace and Calm.
