Slide 2 - Driving Question/ Objective: To design a House while working with a real client and competing for the winning bid against another competitor. You will be creating a complete set of Construction Documents using prior knowledge and still learning more to incorporate into the Construction Document set.
Slide 3 - Clients: Your client will be a teacher, staff member or principal. You will be assigned the client. You will meet with your client every Tuesday to discuss the design. Client picks location (anywhere in the WORLD) You will have a form the client will sign every time you meet with them about their design.
Slide 4 - Requirements: Individual project Research the location of the client Criteria matrix, bubble relationship, block Rough draft plan AutoCAD: Plan, Int. & Ext. Elevations, lighting plan, foundation plan, Kitchen section & Cover Elevations will include: 4 exterior & all kitchen elevations. Design Notebook Final PowerPoint presentation
Slide 5 - Drawing Requirements All drawings will need to have dimensions Plans will need wall thickness, windows, doors and frames Elevations will need as much detail as possible to show the client the final design. Make sure to have all drawings with layers and save them to the H:drive Final drawings will be in a folder on the P:drive.
