Slide 1 - Taking risks
Slide 2 - Some examples of activities that include taking risks are: Snowboarding Sky Diving Underwater Diving Gambling Climbing a tree Making a new friend Here are some of them: …
Slide 3 - Snowboarding was developed in the United States, inspired by skateboarding, sledding, surfing, and skiing. It became popular around the globe and was introduced as a Winter Olympic Sport at Nagano in 1998 and featured in the Winter Paralympics at Sochi in 2014. As of 2015, its popularity (as measured by equipment sales) in the United States peaked in 2007 and has been in a decline since.  Snowboarding
Slide 4 - The snowboarding way of life came about as a natural response to the culture from which it emerged. Early on, there was a rebellion against skiing culture and the view that snowboarders were inferior. Skiers did not easily accept this new culture on their slopes. The two cultures contrasted each other in several ways.  When injured, snowboarders are twice as likely to get a fracture as skiers.
Slide 5 - Sky diving Skydiving is parachuting from an airplane for fun. Skydiving can be done individually or with groups of people. Typically skydives are carried out from around 4,000m (or 12,500ft) offering 40 to 50 seconds of freefall time. Longer free fall times can be achieved by exiting an aircraft at altitudes much higher than 4,000m, but very high jumps require pressurized air within the aircraft, and bottled oxygen for the diver. The main risks of skydiving :  Equipment failure  Bad weather conditions
Slide 6 - Skydiving and parachuting are the ultimate adrenaline experiences, guaranteed to create serious thrills and leave them buzzing long after it’s over. I personally thing that skydiving is an activity that helps you face your fears. A main parachute malfunction, on average happens about one in one thousand jumps.
Slide 7 - UNDERWATER DIVING Underwater diving is the practice of descending below the water's surface to interact with the environment. It is a dangerous activity because humans are not psychologically and anatomically well-adapted to the environmental conditions of diving. Most of the risks are largely controlled by appropriate diving skills, training and advanced equipment though it remains a very dangerous activity.
Slide 8 - The danger of underwater diving  The most dangerous creature in the deep sea is not a fish or a squid or a shark. It is the human diver. Divers are often careless and make mistakes that can cost them their lives. They may dive too deep, too fast, or without proper safety equipment. Diver oxygen toxicity can be caused by mixed gases containing a high concentration of oxygen (nausea, twitching, visual disturbances, irritability, and dizziness are among the symptoms). If you are diving alone, there is no one to save you and any danger can kill you.
Slide 9 - Gambling Gambling is the wagering of something of value ("the stakes") on a random event with the intent of winning something else of value, where instances of strategy are discounted. ----------------------------------  Gambling is an activity that can make you either very rich or homeless.  This type of activity is very addictive because as you lose money, you think that the next try you will get more than you've spent, and this makes you to spent more and more money and, at the end, you might get some money, but there's a very small chance.
