Slide 2 - A screw compressor is a positive displacement compressor that compresses the gas using two spiral-meshed screws or rotors. Gas is compressed using a positive displacement rotary mechanism. Air or gas is compressed using Screw Air Compressor Manufacturers. The first rotor of the screw compressor receives power from the electric motor through a shaft when it is running. Then, it rotates and also turns the other rotor. At the suction end of the compressor, a cavity is created when these two meshed rotors rotate. Compressed air is created and pushed to the outlet as the air moves along the rotors and is compressed as the volume gap between the rotors shrinks.
