Cardano ERP-Catalyst Presentation Transcript

Slide 1 - CERP.dev feedback@cerp.dev Cardano ERP - Catalyst
Slide 2 - Cardano ERP = 4 Proposals vCA Fund 8 advice: Split into multiple proposals and resubmit Cardano ERP – Main Project Cardano ERP for Catalyst Cardano ERP – Grow Asia Cardano ERP – Grow Africa
Slide 3 - What is an ERP system? An ERP system seamlessly integrates all the modules (i.e. dApps) and reporting tools required to operate and manage an organization and conduct its business. It facilitates transactions and reporting between the organization and vendors, customers, employees, stakeholders, and government. Amazon.com, Starbucks, DHL, schools, hospitals, and most larger businesses and governments all utilize an ERP system to provide you with goods and services and also sell, order, and report between other businesses and governments.
Slide 4 - Possible dApp Integrations
Slide 5 - Why Cardano ERP? To efficiently unify otherwise disparate software (i.e. dApps) into a robust, integrated, homogeneous solution To provide an optimized and standardized user experience for – business, enterprise, and government users To improve upon legacy ERP systems by adding “intelligence” and integrations which only a smart-contracts based ERP system can provide. To achieve mass adoption of the Cardano ecosystem by governments and organizations of almost every size and industry vertical To position Cardano as THE blockchain for enterprises and governments 100% no relational databases 100% built with Cardano as its backend
Slide 6 - Who will build/maintain CERP? Upon receiving funding, Cardano ERP will be established as a not-for-profit entity (public good) and open-source project. CERP Team One will architect and develop core modules (dApps) to which other community and open-source dApps will be able to integrate. They will maintain the core modules as an open-source project. CERP Team Six will be the Cardano Community projects who integrate their modules (dApps) and other ERP systems to CERP and maintain same as open-source or proprietary projects, as appropriate. Note: This is almost the same model used by IOHK/IOG. They kept early development close until ready for the Cardano community to “take over”.
Slide 7 - Who benefits from CERP? Project Catalyst (via the Cardano Treasury) SPOs (earn commissions and stake rewards) Cardano Community ecosystem (massive growth and new opportunities for all) The normal Project Catalyst funding processes, and the free market (via innovative Stake-to-Subscribe and fee-based revenue models) are expected to fund its perpetual development as a robust, open-source Tier 3 ERP system.
Slide 8 - Vote for Cardano ERP – Main Project if you want: Cardano positioned as THE blockchain for enterprise and government Mass adoption by enterprise and government users Massive influx of experienced ERP developers Development of tools to integrate Cardano with existing open-source and proprietary ERP systems Support the development of the very first ERP system having blockchain as its backend (i.e. no more vulnerable relational databases) Implementation of previously theoretical systems such as the Tokenization of Everything (ToE).
Slide 9 - What is Cardano ERP for Catalyst? A bespoke community version of CERP – Main Project (think “QuickBooks”) Primary purpose will be to provide a light accounting and auditing solution for Catalyst funded projects Modules: General Ledger, Funds receipts, integrated COTI Pay disbursements (DJED), financial and audit reporting 100% no relational databases 100% built with Cardano as its backend
Slide 10 - Vote for Cardano ERP for Catalystif you want: Standardized accounting, auditing, and reporting system for use by Catalyst fund recipients and participants Use of funds transparency Project tracking and alert automations Project level and consolidated auditing and reporting
Slide 11 - Cardano ERP – Grow Asia Experienced and already gainfully employed ERP developers are unwilling to forgo 2 months of guaranteed earnings to learn Cardano technologies. It is a funding request to put 6 experienced ERP developers, residing in Asia, through Emurgo Academy training. Provides for full Emurgo Academy tuition and a small stipend to make it possible for these developers to focus on learning Cardano technologies. This is the purest “bring experienced developers to Cardano” proposal we could write.

Slide 13 - Cardano ERP – Grow Africa Experienced and already gainfully employed ERP developers are unwilling to forgo 2 months of guaranteed earnings to learn Cardano technologies. It is a funding request to put 3 experienced ERP developers, residing in Africa, through Emurgo Academy training.
