What Is Bollinger Band Indicator Presentation Transcript

Slide 1 - What Is Bollinger Band Indicator?
Slide 2 - What are Bollinger Bands? A man named John Bollinger invented the Bollinger Bands. These bands depict a price range that something, such as a stock or currency, normally stays inside. Consider it like a pricing range for anything you wish to buy. These bands rise and fall in response to price changes throughout time. To use Bollinger Bands, we must first understand two concepts: "period" and "standard deviations." These are the ingredients that we utilize to make something delicious. The default choices for the period and standard deviations are 20 and 2, respectively, but you can alter them to suit your needs.
Slide 3 - How to Read Bollinger Bands? Using Bollinger Bands is like having a trading magic wand. Let's have a look at how: For Buying in Up Trends: When prices rise dramatically, they frequently reach the upper band. This indicates that prices are rising. It is still powerful if the price falls little and then rises again, but not all the way to the upper band. This is a signal to buy if the price rises again. For Selling in Down Trends: When prices fall dramatically, they frequently remain in the lower band. This means that items are becoming more affordable. If the price rises briefly and then falls again, but does not rise above the middle band, it is still in a strong downtrend. When the price falls again, this is a signal to sell.
Slide 4 - How to Use Bollinger Bands for Intraday Trading? Using Bollinger Bands to determine market information in a short period of time might be difficult. But don't panic, we have a plan that might work. Consider Bollinger Bands indicator to be a stretchable band wrapped around the price. This band can get incredibly tight at times, as if it's squeezing the price. This is known as the "Bollinger Band Squeeze pattern." This doesn't happen very frequently, perhaps every 2 to 4 days or weeks. When you see this Squeeze pattern, it could indicate that there is an opportunity to make a trade. Look at the image below for rectangles that emphasize the Squeeze patterns. If the squeeze lasts longer, the transaction you make may be larger. Also, ensure that you are trading in the same direction as the breakout. This Bollinger Bands' Squeeze approach is regarded as one of the most effective ways to achieve your trading objectives.  Bollinger Bands become close together when prices remain static or fluctuate just slightly. But here's the thing: when trading, you should utilize Bollinger Bands in conjunction with other indicators, not on their own. It is critical to take the time to analyze the trends before deciding whether to buy or sell.
